Jaume Plensa
I really love the work of this artist. I like how interactive his pieces were, such as the gong room, and this particular sculpture which you could sit in and view from all sorts of angles. I really liked the shaddows it created, forming random letter formations, that you could try and make into words.

Jaume Plensa models Again I really like the shaddows these models create, and if they were large scale they would be very stunning. I also like how he portrays his work as very interactive, showing how he wants his artwork to be viewed.

The three heads were my favourite works of his. I really liked the atmosphere when you walked into that particualr space, it was very surreal and felt serene. It had a very quieting effect. I thought the lights behind the sculpture were very beautiful, and highlighted the different faces on the figures. They all portray different races, but portrayed in the same colour and lighting. This gave me the message, that everyone is equal. I'm not sure if he was trying to portray this message, but this is how it read to me.

The large scale sculptures hanging off the walls, were very interesting, they were very emotive, and powerful. I really liked the head room. All different races together. They also were portrayed in a very unusual way, stretched out, which made me feel quite bizarre and made me more intrigued by these works.

Henry Moore

I really like the metalicy feel to Moore's work. The rusted copper colour against the green, makes them very interesting. I also love the shapes he creates, angular juxtaposed with softer flowing curves. Therefore creating lovely and beautiful sculptures. I also think they work very well in the outdoor setting.

Sophie Ryder
I find Ryder's work very interesting. I love the personification of animals. Rabbits on human bodies, is very interesting and seems to work in her work. I also like the fact that she places little objects within the sculptures, that add individuality and show a lot about her fun nature. My favourite is the huge wire work rabbit. It looks very powerful, and is an amazing sight.

The other artist on this page I found interesting, but my favourite part about their work was the way the light hit off it, and created lovely contrast.
