National Portrait Gallery

For this we mainly looked at the old portraiture of the royal families from the past. I found them very interesting, and found myself amazed at the beautiful painting techniques. I also really liked the stories and symbolism in a lot of them. Used to portray certain people as extremely wealthy and powerful. And to capture them in that time forever. Now this has been replaced with photography... We also saw some of the enteries and the winner of the Taylor Wessing Photographic portrait prize...
